Tom is a fantastic under 18’s motorcycle trials rider who at only 17 years old Tom is ranked 2nd in Jersey overall (adults), 3rd in Britain Youth, and quite possibly the only channel island rider who has taken part in the Youth British Championship.
In the 2024 season Tom had great success in finishing 11th in the Mintex National Trial plus he had a stunning ride in the Jersey Two Day Trial. Jersey attracts riders from the top categories in the UK and World Trials, so to be in the same class as Female World Champion Emma Bristow MBE and World Trial 2 champion Jack Peace is an amazing achievement.
Tom finished 3rd in the Great Britain under 18’s in 2024 and is aiming to improve on this for 2025 by competing abroad against the best under 18’s in the world, the FIM World Championship kicks off with Rounds 1 & 2 in Benahavis, Spain on 4 – 6 April then leading onto the following weekend, 11 to 13 April for rounds 3 & 4 in Viana do Castelo, Portugal Tom will be competing against some very strong riders from all parts of the world in the under 18s class and has been training hard for this competition.
Following this Tom has other competitions set all across Europe from Jersey to the United Kingdom all the way to San Marino with varying terrain to test his skills. This includes the World Championships plus British Men’s Championship rounds in addition to the Scottish 6 Day National Trial, Scott Trial and Jersey Two Day.
Good luck Tom!
