Beresford Street Kitchen helps people with learning difficulties and autism and provides them with training and employment. The key focus of BSK is to work with young people in order that they can learn new skills, work in their local community and enjoy the benefits that work has to offer and giving them the opportunity to develop and achieve their goals. At Le Gallais and Luce we are passionate about nurturing talent and over the years we have had a number of students who regularly come back to work at the office during the holiday periods. The partners have received comments from proud parents telling us how their child’s confidence has grown through working at our firm, and we have also seen this first hand with students themselves. We therefore very much like the ethos of the Beresford Street Kitchen and look forward to working with them.
In recent years we have also supported Beresford Street Kitchen at a number of their key fundraising events to include the Runway Challenge at Jersey Airport and their annual golf day. This year we will be supporting BSK at their annual dinner to be held at the Royal Yacht in October by sponsoring their diamond and raffle package to enable every person who purchases a raffle ticket to be in with a chance of winning a diamond on the night worth circa £1,000! In addition, we will be supporting BSK at our annual golf day in September as well as raising funds at other ad hoc events throughout the year.
