Laurie Nehwati

Laurie is an experienced Property Operations Manager at Le Gallais & Luce and has been a valued member of the firm since joining in 2013. She plays a key role within the property department and manages the firm’s property admin team, supporting a broad range of matters across property law.

Her experience includes share transfer purchases and sales, private and residential lending, security interest agreements, equity agreements and matrimonial property transfers. Laurie is known for her organised and proactive approach, helping to ensure transactions progress efficiently while delivering a high level of client service.

Alongside her legal work, Laurie also manages the firm’s social media marketing and CSR, supporting the promotion of the firm’s services and engagement with the wider community.

Laurie is committed to ongoing professional development. She has completed the Level 5 Chartered Management Institute (CMI) qualification and is currently undertaking the Level 7 qualification to further develop her leadership and management expertise.

Before joining Le Gallais & Luce, Laurie gained twelve years’ professional experience with Jersey Telecom and CPA Global.

Outside of her professional life, Laurie has taken part in a number of international volunteering initiatives, including teaching at a nursery in Zimbabwe, working on a lion rehabilitation project, and contributing to a community development project in Uganda with Jersey Overseas Aid.
