Marianne Shaw

Marianne is Managing Partner at Le Gallais & Luce and head of our Wills and Probate team.

Having qualified as an English Solicitor with Nigel Harris & Partners in 2007, Marianne joined Le Gallais & Luce in 2010 and qualified as a Jersey Solicitor in 2014. As head of one of Jersey’s leading probate teams, she specialises in wills, probate, delegation and power of attorney matters.

Marianne was appointed a senior associate of Le Gallais & Luce in 2014, became a partner in 2016, then Managing Partner in 2018.

She is a member of the Jersey Law Society and English Law Society.

In December 2023 Marianne was sworn in by the Dean of Jersey, the Very Reverend Michael Keirle as a Notary Public under the allegiance of King Charles III.  Marianne was the first Notary Public in Jersey to be sworn in under the allegiance of the King.
