Glen Ozouf is Conveyancing Manager at Le Gallais & Luce and has more than 13 years’ experience in Jersey property and conveyancing.
His career with the firm began in 2013, when his interest in law and property led him to undertake work experience in his spare time. After joining Le Gallais & Luce, Glen trained as a conveyancer and has since developed extensive experience across Jersey’s residential and commercial property market.
Glen acts for a broad range of clients, from first-time buyers purchasing their first home and families making their next move, through to high net worth individuals undertaking substantial and more complex property transactions.
His practice includes residential and commercial sales and purchases, property contracts, refinances, mortgages and associated property finance matters. Glen also has significant experience acting on new-build and development transactions and has dealt with property matters across all areas of the Island.
Glen appreciates that every property transaction is significant to the client involved, regardless of its value or complexity. He places particular emphasis on being approachable, communicating clearly and practically, and ensuring that clients understand the conveyancing process and what is required of them throughout their transaction.
He believes that regular communication is key and keeps clients updated as their matter progresses. Where concerns or unexpected issues arise, Glen takes a proactive and pragmatic approach to resolving them as efficiently as possible. He understands that, for many clients, a property transaction represents far more than a legal process – whether it is the excitement of buying a first home, finding the right home for a growing family or taking the next step in their property journey.
Having spent his career at Le Gallais & Luce, Glen has developed extensive knowledge of Jersey conveyancing practice together with strong working relationships across the Island’s property industry.
As Conveyancing Manager, Glen is responsible for the day-to-day operation and development of the firm’s Conveyancing Team. He oversees work allocation, staff development and training, contributes to recruitment and business development, and works to continually improve the team’s procedures and working practices.
A particular focus for Glen is creating a consistent and efficient service for clients while fostering an environment in which colleagues feel supported, their views are heard and they are able to contribute to the continued development of the team.
Glen remains actively involved in client matters and particularly enjoys the variety of Jersey property work and the opportunity to guide clients through some of the most important transactions in their lives.
