Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation
Following the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), our priority at Le Gallais & Luce remains the health and well-being of our employees, clients and intermediaries, whilst continuing to strive to deliver the highest level of service.
In line with the decision by the Government of Jersey to lockdown Jersey, as of 8am on Monday 30 March 2020 we remain open for business but we confirm that the physical office of Le Gallais & Luce will now be closed until further notice.
We have implemented our Business Continuity Plan, with our essential team now working remotely (ensuring compliance with best practice and legislation in relation to cybersecurity, Jersey Data Protection Law and confidentiality measures), and who continue to operate by email, telephone and video conference in order to continue our service to you. Please note that we have limited facilities to send post at this time, we therefore ask if you could please send any communications or documents by email.
All property transactions must now be completed by Power of Attorney, Le Gallais and Luce have never charged for the preparation of a Power of Attorney to be used in connection with a property transaction and the States of Jersey are waiving the £60 registration fee during the outbreak. If you require a Power of Attorney to pass contract please contact our property team on 760760 who will be pleased to assist you.
